Monkeez Overview

With the launch of Monkeez, the Zungle was born! The ecosystem has largely surpassed the initial aspirations of the community as the team continues to add to this ever-growing world.

Monkeez is the first project within this ecosystem - a collection of 4k programmatically generated NFTs on Avalanche, aimed at building one of the biggest communities of dedicated individuals on the chain. Each Monkee is created from a random assortment of traits broken up into several (8) categories. Monkeez holders get exclusive IP rights to the underlying art of their NFT.

Obtaining Monkeez

The Monkeez mint is sold out, but they can still be purchased on external marketplaces. As there are many marketplaces on AVAX, all official links are listed in the marketplaces section of our documentation. Always double check the contract address to confirm the collection is correct.

Monkeez Functionality

Monkeez are the main way (but not the only way) to earn $MNKZ, the token powering the underlying economy of the Zungle. Monkeez passively earn $MNKZ if they're staked (staking is non-custodial so your NFT stays in your wallet) to use on any and all things within the Zungle.
